Kinetic Typography Maker: Animated Text Ads From Your Link
Kinetic typography is text that moves to carry the message: words that type, slide, swap and land in time with a voice or a beat. A kinetic typography maker animates the text for you. Most start from words you type or a template. 10xvid starts from your app's link, then writes and animates the words of a whole ad.1
Kinetic typographyIn short
- Template editors such as Canva, Adobe Express and VEED animate your text with presets such as typewriter or fade, then export an MP4.234
- Motion tools such as Jitter and After Effects let you animate by line, word or letter, or with keyframes.56
- 10xvid writes the words from your link and sets them as type in a finished ad, in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9.1
- None of the five other makers' pages we read say they start from a website link.
What is kinetic typography?
Text in motion, where the movement carries meaning. A word that types out reads as speech. A word struck through reads as wrong. A number that grows reads as more.

In a video ad, it is how the ad speaks with the sound off. TikTok's advice: "Use captions or text overlays to provide context to your ad." It adds: "We recommend displaying 5-10 words per second when using text."7

How do you write a kinetic typography ad?
Write the words before you move them. The motion only works if the line does.
- One idea per screen. A short line the viewer can read in a second, then the next one.
- One word carries each beat. Set it apart in size or colour. In the ad below, it is "faster".
- Move the text to mean something. Type it out when it is speech, strike it when it is wrong, swap it for a before and after.
- Time it to the voice or the beat. A word lands when it is said.
- Keep the pace readable. TikTok's figure is 5 to 10 words a second when you use text.7
- End on one ask, with your name on screen.
What does a kinetic typography ad look like?
This one was made for Typally, a voice typing app made by 10xvid's founder. Nearly every second of it is type.
- 0 to 3 s: "You think faster than you type." builds word by word, with "faster" set apart in green italics.
- 3 to 5 s: "Hold a key, let go", under a key and a sound wave.
- 6 to 8 s: "Ums gone." The ums drop out of a spoken sentence on screen.
- 8 to 10 s: "Anywhere you can type." Lines branch from the mic to the apps.
- 11 to 15 s: the ad's speed claim as a number and two bars, then "Mic closed until you hold the key".
- 16 to 22 s: "Start free" and "$0 / forever", then "No card, nothing to cancel" and a Download free button.
Each move does a job. The type builds as a thought does, and the ums drop out the way the app drops them.
Where 10xvid fits
10xvid, motion graphics ads for apps, makes the whole ad, not only the text. Paste your App Store link or your website into the chat. It reads the page, writes the words, and draws the film from your real screens, colours and type.1 Motion V1 does not generate pixels, so the words stay sharp at any size.1
Every film is read frame by frame and judged at 8 of 10 before you see it.1 For the craft behind the motion, see AI motion graphics, explained. The first ad is free, with no card: make your first ad.
