Mobile Ad Networks: Where Your App's Video Ads Can Run

A mobile ad network places your app's ads where people already are: in social feeds, in search, and inside other apps and games. Ten big ones run video ads for apps. Most let you sign up yourself and start small, from $5 a day on Snapchat, and most ask for a vertical 9:16 video. These are the networks' own pages, read on 27 October 2026.123

Mobile ad networks

In short

  • Two kinds: the big platforms (Meta, Google, Apple, TikTok, Snapchat), and the in-app networks behind games (AppLovin, Unity, Moloco, Liftoff, Mintegral).
  • Buying: most are self-serve; Moloco's site leads with "TALK TO OUR TEAM", and Mintegral's sign-up asks for documents.45
  • Starting: from $5 a day on Snapchat and $10 a day on AppLovin to $300 a day on Moloco.167
  • The video: 9:16 almost everywhere, often full screen, with lengths up to 60 seconds and more.89
  • Apple Ads makes its ads from your App Store page, so its video is your app preview.10

What is a mobile ad network?

A seller of ad space in apps. Some sell their own feeds; some sell space inside thousands of other apps:

  • Meta Audience Network "allows you to extend your campaigns to also reach people on mobile apps that partner with Meta Audience Network."11
  • TikTok Ad Network is "TikTok's global ad network formerly known as Pangle".12
  • Google App campaigns run across "Search, Google Play, YouTube, Discover on Google Search, and the Google Display Network", other apps included.13
  • AppLovin, for games: "Every ad runs fullscreen during natural pauses in the game experience or are chosen in exchange for rewards."14

Each network's own pages, read on 27 October 2026.

How do full-screen in-app ads work?

Inside games and other apps, many video ads take the whole screen, at a break or for a reward:

  • Rewarded video: "Rewarded video ads are a fullscreen experience where users opt-in to view a video ad in exchange for something of value".35 On Meta Audience Network, a rewarded video "Can't be skipped".8
  • Interstitial: shown between screens. AppLovin's video "is unskippable for 5 seconds in interstitial placements, and up to 60 seconds in rewarded placements."36
  • End cards: a still screen after the video. Unity: "all video ads must also include an end card."28
  • Playables: a small game in the ad. Google asks for a ZIP file of at most 5MB.37

In the US, TikTok Ad Network runs only two of its formats: "Interstitial ads and Rewarded ads."38

How many people does each network reach?

Each counts in its own way, so the numbers do not compare. Read each as the network's own claim:

How many people each network says it reaches: Apple 850M+ App Store visitors a week, Snapchat 971M monthly active users, TikTok Ad Network 1B+ a day, AppLovin 1B+ a day, Liftoff 1B+ users, Moloco 2B+ a day
Each network's own figure, read on 27 October 2026. Each is counted its own way.
  • Apple: "Over 850 million people" visit the App Store every week.3
  • Snapchat: 971 million monthly active users, from its Q2 2026 data.39
  • TikTok Ad Network: "nearly 400,000 apps worldwide with a daily active user reach of more than 1 billion via app traffic".2
  • AppLovin: over 1 billion "Daily active users across 10,000+ apps".26
  • Liftoff: "The Vungle SDK is integrated with more than 150,000 apps and reaches over one billion users across more than 150 countries".40
  • Moloco: "reaching more than 2 billion people a day, across more than 2.9 million mobile apps", on a sample from March and April 2026.7

What video does each network need?

One vertical video goes almost everywhere. Make three shapes and you cover the rest:

  1. 9:16 first, 1080 by 1920. It is the shape for Snapchat, TikTok, AppLovin and Meta's rewarded video.242298
  2. 16:9 and 1:1 too. Google asks for all three, and Unity and Liftoff take landscape.182832
  3. 15 to 30 seconds for the main cut: it fits inside every limit above. Most networks accept 60 seconds; Mintegral says "60s or under generally performs best."33 Moloco loops a video under 30 seconds until it is 60.29
  4. An end card where the network asks for one.
  5. For Apple Ads, your app preview: 15 to 30 seconds, uploaded in App Store Connect.41
An ad 10xvid made for Agent Games, made by 10xvid's founder: 15 seconds, 9:16. It plays muted here.

Which network should an app start with?

Where you can buy small and learn. The platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Apple) are self-serve with no large minimum. The game networks ask for more: Unity a $1,000 deposit, Moloco $300 a day.277 What an install costs on each is in cost per install.

Where 10xvid fits

10xvid, motion graphics ads for apps, makes the video in the three shapes these networks ask for. That is 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9, 5 to 30 seconds, as 1080p MP4s from one run.42 Paste your App Store link or website into the chat; it draws the ads from your real app screens.

Recorded in the app: films made, checked and ready to download.

It does not make playables or end cards. Solo is about 30 video ads a month for $79.43 The first ad is free, with no card: make your first ad.
