Introducing Motion v1, the video engine behind every 10xvid ad
Most AI video starts from a prompt and paints pixels. That is fine for a mood. An ad for your app has a harder job: the words have to be readable, the screens have to be your screens, and the price has to be the real price.
Motion v1Today we are introducing Motion v1, the engine that makes every 10xvid ad. It does not generate pixels. It reads your site, designs each shot, draws every frame from your own pictures and type, and checks the finished film before you see it.
Drawn, not generated
Motion v1 keeps what your site already shows: your pictures, your logo, your colours and your type. A director casts each shot from a library of 43 designs: a field that types itself, a price card, a checklist that ticks, a chart, a quote. Then every frame is drawn from those parts at full resolution.
Three things follow from that.
- Text is sharp. Words are set as type, not painted, so a headline reads in the first second and a price is never a smudge.
- Your product looks like your product. The screens in the ad are the screens your site shows.
- Nothing is invented. Numbers, prices, quotes and guarantees come from your site and nowhere else.
Motion, measured
Good motion design has a rhythm you feel before you can name it. We wanted the numbers. So we tracked 4,088 moves across six professional product films, frame by frame, and wrote down what the best work does.1
| What we measured | Median |
|---|---|
| An element arriving, from its first move to rest | 0.40 s |
| The next element of a group follows after | 0.10 s |
| A new row or card appears after the one before | 0.23 s |
| Text typing itself | 27 characters a second |
| One shot, from start to end | 2.1 s |
Some of it surprised us. Almost nothing fades in: 84 percent of elements arrive fully opaque. Only 1 move in 20 overshoots, so a bounce is an exception and never a habit. And 89 percent of shots are still moving when they cut. Good films cut on motion. They do not stop and wait.
Motion v1 takes its timing from these measurements. How fast things arrive, how long they hold and how one shot hands on to the next are sampled from what was measured, not from presets.
A gate before delivery
Every film is checked before it reaches you. A vertical film goes through 38 checks: whether text is readable and clear of the edges, whether anything is cut off, whether motion snaps or jitters, whether the sound is there and no busier than the picture, whether the logo and the call to action are in place.
Then a judge scores the film blind, beside a film we admire and a film we rejected, without being told which is ours.
We calibrated the gate on real verdicts. On 4 October 2026 it was run on 89 films we had rejected and on the 6 reference films that set its bar. It failed all 89 and passed all 6.2
When a film misses, the director is told what failed, on which shot and at which second, and casts it again. If the best version still falls short, you get it as a first cut, labelled as one. There is more in how the quality gate works.
What it makes
- Vertical 9:16, square 1:1 and landscape 16:9. Each is laid out for its frame, not cropped from another.
- 5 to 42 seconds, as a 1080p MP4 at 30 frames a second.
- Music made for the film, sound effects placed on what happens on screen, and a voiceover when you want one. The mix is mastered to -14 LUFS, the loudness feeds expect.
Two sites never get the same film. A film may share at most half of its designs with a film made for another site.
What it does not do
Motion v1 is built for one job, and it has edges.
- No avatars, no presenters and no stock footage.
- It uses the pictures your site shows. A physical product needs its own photos there.
- It writes in the language of your site. English is where it is tested most.
Try it
Your first ad is free. Paste your link and Motion v1 reads your app and makes one.
- Six professional product films at 30 frames a second. A move is one element tracked from rest to rest. The medians are over 1,853 complete moves, typing over 31 typed lines and shot length over 111 shots. ↩
- Twelve of the rejected films reached the judge and scored between 2.0 and 4.0 out of 10 for craft. The reference films scored between 8.1 and 9.0. The bar is 7. ↩
