# Styles API

List the hundred styles and Pure with their ids, names, families and pictures, to choose the look of the videos a format makes.

## List styles

`GET /api/v1/styles`

Every style a format can be made in, in the gallery's order, Pure first. Needs **Styles: Read**.

| Field | What it is |
|---|---|
| `id` | What to send in `styles` when you [create a format](/docs/api/reference/formats). |
| `name` | Its name, as the app shows it. |
| `family` | The family it belongs to. |
| `description` | What it looks like, in a line. |
| `picture` | A small drawing of it. |
