# Image ads API

Make still image ads from a ready format in the shapes you need, then read one or list them all, each with links to its files.

## Make image ads

`POST /api/v1/formats/{id}/images`

Makes still image ads from a format that is `ready`, from the same Format DNA as its videos. Needs **Image ads: Write**.

| Field | Needed | What it is |
|---|---|---|
| `style` | optional | One of the styles the format was made with. None: the site's own look. |
| `count` | optional | How many images, 1 to 6. Default 1. |
| `aspects` | optional | Any of `"9:16"`, `"1:1"`, `"16:9"`. Default: the format's. |

The answer is `202` with a list holding the batch being made, one object with `"object": "image"`. Each image is charged in each shape.

## The image object

The same as the [video object](/docs/api/reference/videos), with `"object": "image"` and no `voiceover` or `length`. Each file has `image_id`, `aspect`, `url`, `width` and `height`.

## Get image ads

`GET /api/v1/images/{id}`

Needs **Image ads: Read**.

## List image ads

`GET /api/v1/images`

Newest first, with `format`, `limit` and `before` as for videos. Needs **Image ads: Read**.
